Road Closures in Central London this New Years Eve

The annual London New Years Eve fireworks display on the South Bank is now just around the corner. A number of road closures and parking restrictions may affect your journey during this period.

Road Closures

Road closures will be introduced progressively from 2pm on Sunday 31st December and many will remain in place until 6am on New Years Day. Certain roads will remain closed until Monday 1st Jan, due to the New Years Day Parade. More information regarding the parade can be found here

Please refer to this map for details about which roads will be affected and at what time.

Parking Restrictions

Parking will be restricted in and around the event area from 30th December, and many of these will remain in place until 1st January 2018. Once road closures come into effect at 2pm on 31st December, the Metropolitan Police will restrict vehicle movement into the area. Please check local signage or contact your local authority to find out more.
